First Class Cadet

First Class Cadet badge

Your work on achieving First Class Cadet status will give you an understanding of the Air Training Corps, including its history. You will learn about the Royal Air Force and how to behave when visiting RAF stations, and how to address different people of different ranks within the organization. You may learn First Aid, and you'll definitely learn basic map-reading and navigation skills which will help you when you go on expeditions and trips in the future. Communications and good Airmanship (the art of operating aircraft) will be fully covered.
